The eye area is extremely delicate and more prone to reactions from sensitivities or allergies than other parts of the face. Some adhesives may release fumes that can cause a stinging or burning sensation. During the consultation, assess whether your client may be sensitive to the products used. Always conduct a patch test on new clients at least 24 hours before the full application—ideally 48 hours in advance. Please note that a negative patch test does not guarantee your client won't react during a full lash extension service.
