With a professional eyebrow tint kit, you can invest once and get a bevy of tools to help you optimize your practice. Today, we're taking a closer look at everything our kit includes and what to expect from this movement well into 2024 and beyond!

Getting eyebrow tinted

What Is Eyebrow Tinting?

If you have lighter eyebrows, you may have tried every cosmetic under the sun to make them darker and more prominent. From gels and pencils to powders and stamping kits, many different beauty products promise to give you the eye-catching look you want.

The only problem? Not only does brow makeup take forever to apply and perfect, but most products only last a few hours before you need to re-apply. This keeps you stuck in an endless cycle of purchasing, using, and tossing items while only achieving lackluster results.

Eyebrow tinting was born out of this frustration. Sensing a need for a more semi-permanent solution to the fair-brow conundrum, stylists began developing targeted enhancing treatments. This included solutions such as microblading and microshading, both of which darken and lengthen brows into a desired shape.

However, while such treatments can be effective, they also come with a cost. Not only can they be expensive, but there's also a small degree of discomfort associated with them. This is where eyebrow tinting comes in.

Delivering results that are akin to microblading without the pain or the price tag, brow tinting is the latest salon craze -- and for good reason. This is the process of applying a semi-permanent dye to an individual's brows to enhance, darken, and define them.

How Does It Work?

Rather than adding lines to create the illusion of more brow hairs, estheticians will use brow tint to gently darken the existing fine hairs in and around the client's eyebrows. This makes the brows appear thicker, longer, and fuller.

Using this approach, stylists can transform the brows into nearly any shape or look the client desires. For instance, if they want wider or thicker brows, they'll focus on darkening the tiny hairs that surround the perimeter and outer edges of the brow. If they want longer brows, the focus will shift to the inner or outer corners of the brow, creating more length.

To perform this procedure, the stylist will begin by cleaning the brow area and applying a thin layer of petroleum jelly to the perimeter. This keeps the tint from staining the surrounding skin. Then, they'll apply the tint in the direction that the brow hairs naturally grow in, followed by a second application in the opposite direction.

Once the tint has been on the brows for a few minutes, the stylist will gently wipe it off with a damp paper towel.

Stylists can mix different shades of tint together to create a color that closely matches the client's hair color. An average session only takes about 15 minutes and the results can last up to six weeks as long as the patient follows all after-care instructions carefully.

What's in a Professional Eyebrow Tint Kit?

Whether you've been providing eyebrow and eyelash tint treatments for years or you're brand-new to this space, you need the right tools by your side.

While you could take a piecemeal approach and purchase each item individually, it's easier and more economical to invest in everything all at once! That's why we're proud to offer our comprehensive Professional Salon Eyelash & Eyebrow Tint Kit with Training.

A dual eyebrow and eyelash tint kit, this all-in-one set includes everything you need to start providing these services at your salon, including professional online training! Let's take a look at what's inside.

Kalentin Eyebrow Tint Kit

Kalentin Professional Eyebrow Tint

Kaletin is one of the top names in eyebrow tinting, with a focus on market innovation and product sustainability. We're proud to offer these vegan tints in our kit, designed to match a range of hair colors! In each kit, you'll receive the following Kalentin Professional Eyebrow Tint products:

You can use these tints on their own, or blend them to create a bespoke color that perfectly matches your client's tresses. Not only do they provide striking, long-lasting color, but they're also known for their incredible durability. Kalentin tints are smudge-proof and water-resistant so clients can live without worrying about ruining their results.

While this can vary by stylist preference, most people find that they can get around 50 to 60 applications from just one tube of tint! To achieve this longevity, you'll need to use no more than 0.3g of cream per treatment.

Eyelash Shields and Guard

It's important to protect the surrounding skin any time you're applying brow or lash tint. Eyelash shields go under a client's lower lashes, designed to shield the skin when you're applying eyelash tint. In our kit, you'll receive 60 shields which should last quite a while!

In addition, we've also included an eyelash tint guard to protect the skin under the client's eyes while you're applying tint. With these two accessories, you can make sure the tint only goes where it's meant to go!

Eyelash and Eyebrow Tint Brush

When it comes to eyebrow tinting, the small details matter! That's why we're proud of our specialty tint brush. Its small, flat head makes it easy to apply tint in even the smallest areas without wasting any valuable product.

Our kit includes one standard eyelash and eyebrow tint brush.

Glamour Tint Brush

Why stop with just one brush? If you want to take the glamour up a notch, you'll love our included Glamour Tint Brush! Featuring the same flat head as our standard brush, it also has a stunning green, stone handle so you can work in style.

Acrylic Mixing Dish

When you're mixing tint, you'll need a clean, smooth space to work on. This is why we've included an acrylic mixing dish in our kit. The dish offers two separate places to mix or dispense your tint as you work, so you never have too much on your brush.

There's even a place to store your application brush, so it can stay clean and sanitary when you're not using it.

Lash Cleaning Pads

Along with petroleum (included), you'll need other products to get the adjacent skin clean before performing lash or brow tint applications. While most makeup removers leave behind a greasy residue that can break down adhesives, our lash cleaning pads leave the client's skin smooth, clean, and free of residual gunk.

This gives you a fresh, safe space to work with!

Flocked Applicators

When applying pre-treatments to the lashes, a flocked applicator is a cinch to use. We've included 50 in our kit so you can start out with plenty.

Lash Stuff Bag

Whether you travel to different booths throughout the week or you're working in the same salon around the clock, you need a stylish bag to keep all of your kit components together! Our cute Lash Stuff Bag is the perfect way to store and organize your tools, and it's included when you purchase our comprehensive kit.

Perfectly Tinted Eyebrows

Free Online Training

One of the most important parts of our kit is our free online eyelash and eyebrow tint training course! Any time you purchase one of our Lash Tint Kits, this complimentary course is included.

In this course, you'll receive instruction from a salon professional with years of training. They'll apply the products to a real model while you watch, so you can see the tools in action! You can take the course any time or anywhere that's convenient for you, and you can receive your certification in as few as three days.

Note that while this course will show you how to apply eyebrow tinting and start attracting clients, it's not the only certification you need to begin. In the U.S., you must have a cosmetology or esthetician license before you can proceed. Our tint training course is considered continuing education.
